Self Priming Centrifugal Pumps

Self-Priming Centrifugal Pumps are designed to handle liquid transfer applications where the pump may encounter air or where the suction line needs to be evacuated automatically during startup. Unlike conventional centrifugal pumps, these pumps are designed to remove air from the suction line and establish pumping action without requiring manual priming every time the pump is started, provided the pump casing contains the required amount of liquid according to the pump design.

These pumps use centrifugal force to move liquids efficiently and are particularly useful in applications where intermittent operation, fluctuating liquid levels, or air entrainment can make conventional pumping systems difficult to operate.
